Sacramento- Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr. signed Assembly Bill 448, legislation jointly authored by Orange County Assemblymember Tom Daly (D-Anaheim) and Sharon Quirk-Silva (D-Fullerton) to establish the Orange County Finance Trust.
Sacramento – Assemblymember Tom Daly (D-Anaheim) and Assemblymember Sharon Quirk-Silva (D-Fullerton) announced today that they will introduce state legislation to allow Orange County cities, the County of Orange, local businesses and philanthropists to pool their resources to pay for construction of “supportive housing” units. The new agency will be called the Orange County Housing Trust.

Sacramento –Assemblymember Tom Daly (D – Anaheim) and Assemblymember David Chiu (D – San Francisco) introduced legislation to help homeless individuals get off the streets permanently by promoting the production of supportive housing in California. Assembly Bill (AB) 2162 would accomplish that objective by making housing developments that are 100% affordable and include a significant percentage of supportive housing units eligible for expedited approval.
