For immediate release:

Sacramento- Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr. signed Assembly Bill 448, legislation jointly authored by Orange County Assemblymember Tom Daly (D-Anaheim) and Sharon Quirk-Silva (D-Fullerton) to establish the Orange County Finance Trust.

"Collaboration is key to reducing homelessness and this Trust will better position Orange County and its 34 cities to compete for future state and federal funding," Assemblymember Daly said. "The framework established under this measure creates a united public-private effort. This can direct significant resources toward construction of permanent supportive housing for the region's homeless."
