Throughout the years, there has been an increase in the number of reported instances of abuse of California’s seniors. While California has passed many laws to ensure this abuse is subject to unique liability, you can also play a vital role in reducing the likelihood that this will happen to you or a loved one.
The informative brochure below, “Report Elder Abuse and Exploitation,” contains information about the different types of abuse, how to prevent potential abuse and how to report elder abuse.
This brochure serves as a base for information to help protect you or loved ones from falling victim. Please contact your local law enforcement agency or call the Orange County Adult Protective Services 24 hour hotline at (800) 451-5155 if you believe that you or someone you know is being victimized.
If I can be of assistance to you on this or any other state matter, please do not hesitate to contact my District Office at (714) 939-8469.
