Assemblymember Lowenthal will be hosting a celebration honoring the 69th Assembly Districts’ Women of Distinction on March 30th, where he will recognize 20 incredible who go above and beyond in the community. Women from across the district were nominated by their friends, peers, and loved ones in one of four categories – Business, Community Service, Education, and Health- and selected by Assemblymember Lowenthal for their commitment to serving the community.

Assemblymember Lowenthal will also be honoring the 69th Assembly District, Woman of the Year, Zoe Nicholson at this ceremony. Ms. Nicholson, is a pillar of the community. Her work for women’s equality can be seen through her decades worth of advocacy efforts for the ERA. Zoe Nicholson joined Assemblymember Lowenthal on the Assembly Floor earlier this month for the California State Assembly Woman of the Year ceremony.
